When you feel like you just can’t anymore…

When you feel like you just can’t anymore… “I can’t do this!” When was the last time you thought that? I could imagine that you might be going through something right now that’s simply draining all your strength. “Why me?” What’s interesting is that this reaction isn’t new—or surprising—to God at all. When we say “I can’t do this,” He probably thinks: “Okay… here we go again. I guess I have to explain to people one more time that I am God.” 🤭 Take Moses, for example. He had a thousand reasons why he was NOT the right person for what God had planned. It tells us in Exodus: “Then the Lord said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ ‘A staff,’ he replied.” (Exodus 4:2, NIV) Then, in the next verse, God told Moses to throw it on the ground and let go of the very thing that had supported him on his long journey. Have you ever experienced that too? You’re already going through a hard time, and then God seems to take away the one thing that was giving you at least a little stability. But when that happens, it’s because God has something on His heart. ❤️ Moses had to learn that he didn’t need anything else except to fully trust God. Because God’s plan—the victory—was already certain. 👑 Moses couldn’t see that yet. But as he kept moving forward, he would experience it himself. And the same is true for you today: God can already see your victory, and you will experience it yourself as you keep moving forward. Even if you’re thinking right now: “I can’t do this. I can’t handle this.” And yes—even if it feels like God is taking away your last bit of support along the way—you can know this: God isn’t trying to take something from you. He wants to give you Himself. He is the most secure foundation you could ever have. ❤️ Because everything human can break, but heavenly promises never will. I’m praying for you. And I’m believing with you. You are a miracle! Déborah Rosenkranz
