Share the Grace

Share the Grace In today’s passage, Paul redirected our definition of God’s grace. He said that although we have freedom through Christ from the strict laws of the Old Testament, it doesn’t mean that everything we want to do is beneficial for God’s kingdom. God’s grace is not meant to help us help ourselves; it’s meant to help us help others. In Christ, we have more freedom than anyone could imagine. When we use this freedom only for our benefit, we take away the chance to demonstrate His grace to those who do not know Him. We can read, listen to sermons, educate ourselves, and fill ourselves with as much godly insight as we can hold, but unless we turn that outward, it is not “constructive” to anyone but us. Goodness shouldn’t be hoarded or kept to ourselves; it was meant to be shared joyfully. Let’s not just seek our own good, but the good of those around us. How can you turn outward today with something that was once for your own good, but can be a blessing to someone else?
