The Completion of Joy
The Completion of Joy
Throughout his letters, John talks about “the Word,” but he’s not talking about a book or a word in the dictionary. He’s talking about Jesus! In this letter, John was sharing his Jesus stories with a new generation because John was one of the few people left who had seen, heard, and touched Him.
There’s something powerful about our Jesus stories— real stories from real-life experiences of Jesus rescuing us, bringing us from darkness to light and from death to life. These stories don’t just impact the people we share them with; they affect us as well. Joy dies when we hold it inside. But when we share it with others, joy spreads like wildfire—and it multiplies in our hearts! So today, share the joy of what Jesus has done for you with those around you, experiencing inwardly and expressing outwardly the fullness of joy God has for you.
