Release blessing! 🔥 You’ve probably been to a wedding with a cover band, haven’t you? Okay, I’m not exactly the youngest anymore. 😄 These days, it’s usually a DJ at events like that. But back in the day, I earned money that way to finance my studies at a Bible school. And I have to say, I’m still proud today that I set boundaries back then. It came from my heart when I told the band leader, “I’ll play along. But when it comes to songs that—even just for fun—talk about topics like ‘hell,’ I’m out.” And there are surprisingly many of those! You probably know the song “Highway to Hell”. It literally says, “I’m on the highway to hell.” Why should I sing lyrics like that? Words that bring nothing but destruction? The Bible says: “With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.” (James 3:9-10, NIV) It might not seem that important to set boundaries like this in everyday life or at work. But today—so many years later—I can tell you that God saw and blessed those small decisions. God does not overlook your faithfulness in the hidden places. And it was truly not always easy for me. Enduring the looks and people asking, “Why is she stepping off the stage again?” Those moments no one would have noticed if I had gone along with it… except Him. And that’s what matters. ❤️ It is clearly written: “...your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:4, NIV) Is there a boundary you’ve crossed because “everyone does it that way”? Then today is a good day to say, “Father, I’m sorry,” and to step into healthy boundaries again. 💪🏻 This change in your life—God can only bless it! You are a miracle! Déborah Rosenkranz
