Remade by Grace

Remade by Grace I am still so excited about what God’s Word showed us yesterday. God doesn’t discard broken vessels—He remakes them! That truth has changed my life because I’ve needed more than a second chance. I’ve needed grace again and again. And God has never run out. This verse has become a battle cry in my own life: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV) The Japanese art of “Kintsugi” is a beautiful picture of God’s work. Instead of discarding broken pottery, Japanese artisans assemble it and seam the broken parts with gold! This makes the “broken” even more valuable! It’s the same with God! When something is marred, the potter doesn’t quit—he reshapes and reseals for a greater purpose. When the vessel seems beyond repair, God is preparing a whole new opportunity. In truth, sometimes that process involves breaking things down before building something new. Sometimes, the clay has to be “soaked” in God’s refining power so that it can be placed on the wheel one more time. And that can be uncomfortable! God may have to: Remove pride Break down bitterness Reshape my desires Soak my hard heart Start all over again…. But it’s always for something better. He’s not making me less—He’s making me new. And today, I choose to trust the process. Even when it’s hard. Even when it requires letting go. And because I know the outcome is worth it. You can embrace that process today. It may be a journey, but it’s worth it. Let’s pray together: “Jesus, thank You for Your grace. Thank You that You don’t give up on me. Even when the process is hard, help me trust that You are making something new in me. Remake my heart and my life. Amen.” Never forget, my friend— You are a miracle! Grant Fishbook
