Wednesday Reflection How old are you today, Wednesday, September 16, 2026? Now add 100 years. How old will you be in 2126? The truth is simple: none of us — including me — will still be here. One day we’ll be remembered only as a name with a beginning date and an ending date. That’s why we must live with eternity in mind. 100 years from now… 500 years from now… 1000 years from now… we will all be somewhere. And according to Scripture, there are only two destinations. So let’s secure our reservation in heaven. Let’s get right with God. Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Romans 14:12 “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” The real question isn’t whether people remember our name. The real question is this: When we stand before God, does He know us as His child? God knows us only through a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. No relationship — no recognition. No fellowship — no connection. No Jesus — no access to the Father. So let me ask you plainly: Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? If you do, you’ve got a reason to shout. If you don’t, I pray this word shakes you, stirs you, and draws you. Because eternity is a long time. Jesus loves you and He wants you to spend eternity with Him.
