Wednesday Words of Wisdom Praise Him Through It Two days ago I celebrated another birthday, and I am forever grateful to be alive to see another year. Last week, I was in the hospital for four days because an infection got into my bloodstream. What I thought would be a quick overnight stay turned into a four‑day sleepover. But while I was there, I realized something: there were people in that hospital sicker than I was. So I began to minister to them. Here’s my thought for today: everything that happens to you may not be for you. Sometimes the Lord brings you through a situation so you can help somebody else who’s going through their own. And no matter what we face, hold on to God’s Word. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 So whatever you’re going through right now, love Him, trust Him, and praise Him through it.
