An Astonishing Faith

An Astonishing Faith Throughout the Scripture, we encounter story after story of astonishing faith. From Noah building an ark, to Abraham packing up his entire estate and setting out to an unknown destination, to Daniel maintaining his rhythms of prayer in the face of persecution, to the disciples performing miracles in the power of the Spirit and spreading the gospel – time and time again we see that faith is the byproduct of knowing God and living for his glory. We also see that astonishing faith – characterized by astonishing acts of courage, prayer, forgiveness, obedience, and generosity – is not limited to the spiritual elite or reserved for the likes of Peter, David, or Esther. They are the blueprint for living a life that leads to why.
