Samaritan’s Purse

ONE YEAR LATER

Delivering Nonstop Aid to Suffering Ukrainians

Dear ‌Friend,

One year ago today, war erupted in Ukraine, resulting in the largest humanitarian crisis in Europe since the Second World War. Samaritan's Purse immediately responded, and we've helped 8 million people so far. We're still on the ground providing food, water, medical care, shelter materials, and more to help those whose lives are being torn apart by the conflict.

Over the past year, Samaritan's Purse has delivered more than 135 million pounds of food, operated two Emergency Field Hospitals, airlifted more than 40 planeloads of emergency supplies, and distributed many thousands of wood-burning stoves, tarps, solar lights, Bibles, and much more. We are working with a faithful network of churches and Christian partners to bring relief to those in great need, even in dangerous areas near the frontlines.

Olga stands in front of her property ruined by war.

Olga is just one of the people we've helped.  Her home was blown apart in the war. She now lives in a neighbor's house without power or heat and has been grateful to receive food and a stove from us. "Thank you for your support,” she said. “We don’t have any other means to survive."

Please continue to pray for the millions who are still suffering in Ukraine and that God would bring peace and an end to the conflict. Pray also for our teams and partners as they help in Jesus’ Name. May God bless you.

Sincerely,

Franklin Graham
President, Samaritan's Purse

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
