Rescue me. Perhaps Jesus said it during his temptation in the wilderness. Certainly, the psalmist says it over and again in many ways. We call out to God to rescue us today, sometimes with a certainty that God will answer and other times out of desperation, hoping God will listen when it seems no one else will. Join us this Sunday for Worship.
As a spiritual practice this Lent, each week we will have a song to reflect on. This week you are invited to listen to Andra Day’s “Rise Up,” let the words wash over you as a prayer and as an answer to prayer, and consider: “Where in your life are you calling out for rescue, and how might God be calling you to reach out in love to rescue your neighbor?”
We need you! There are several opportunities to utilize your talents! Sign up for a Ministry Team! There are 9 different teams to chose from! Also looking for people to prepare and serve communion and to be Greeters and help with Sunday morning set-up. Contact Pastor Kaila or Rondi Eggenberger with questions. Sign up at church on the Sign-up Board or email admin@iamcrossroads.org

MEET FRIENDS
We had our first meeting on Sunday, February 9 and had a great discussion. It is not to late to get reading! Next meeting will be on Sunday March 2! We are hoping to get another group started at The Station!
We would love to have you join us! Here is the scan of The Bible Year for the first 18 days. Books are now available at the church!
WHAT IS THE BIBLE YEAR?
The goal is to read the whole Bible in a year, but think about it in terms of smaller, daily goals. Think about a commitment to read a short selection from the Bible plus a concise devotional every day. You can do that – especially since The Bible Year has it all mapped out for you day by day.
Plus, you’ll also get summaries of key themes and ideas to help you better digest and understand your readings. So you’re not just reading verse after verse, you’re enriching your spiritual life, developing a deeper faith and We will be having small groups to discuss The Bible Year so we will be growing a closer connection to God and to each other.
March 9 we will be hosting live church service and a picnic for the Florence Community. No service will be held at the Church Building in San Tan Valley! Following service, we will be hosting a picnic featuring the San Tan Hotdogs hot dog stand! Come and join us in Florence and help provide funds for this community event!
All proceeds go to Women of Grace for quilting supplies and food for Hope Women's Center.
For the rest of March, We are collecting donations to help our siblings in Christ who are homeless. Please consider donating, you can bring things to the Church building or to the Station Coffee Co. on Sundays.
Join us on Monday, March 24 from 9-11am at the Tempe location to pack meals to help those in need!
