A Prayer When Feeling Peace

A Prayer When Feeling Peace Some moments just feel still in the best way. Nothing needs fixing. Nothing feels urgent. You’re not striving, stressing, or solving—just being. That feeling of peace is rare. And when it comes, we want to hold onto it. Maybe it shows up during a quiet cup of coffee, a peaceful walk, or a moment of prayer. Or maybe, it’s something unexplainable—an inner calm in the midst of a noisy world. Whatever brings it, Scripture calls this kind of peace a gift from God. It’s not just an emotion, it’s a fruit of his Spirit, planted deep in us. But peace doesn’t always stay long. Life moves fast, and worries return. So, when you do feel peace, take a second to thank the One who makes it possible. And ask him to root it in you, so that when storms come (and they will), you’ll remember what it felt like to be still and held. Here’s a scripture and a prayer for that kind of peace.
