Your Friendship with Him

Jesus said, ”I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his [master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” -John 15:15

Today’s Word:
My child draw near to Me and let your heart unfold before Me in hopeful expectation. For I am the giver of every good thing and it is My joy to release what is needed, and even more than enough, as you seek My face. Indeed, I remind you to seek My face and not My hand.
For though the provision is delivered by My hand, it is face to face time that you need. Otherwise what will you do when your answers to prayer seem delayed? Or how will you handle the test of faith that comes when your answers seem to be withheld altogether? You will not be able to understand these things by looking at My hand. Only as you look at My face, will you be able to know My heart and trust Me.
As My face shines upon yours, then hope is increased, peace settles, and love is renewed. Lift your face to Me. Pour your heart out to Me. For our relationship is not about religion, or ritual, or the repeating of written prayers. It is indeed about friendship. A clear and loving exchange of heart to heart, trusting and entrusting, resting and receiving. Friendship.
When you need My hand to move, look to My face first. Lean into your friendship with Me. For I am a stable rock beneath your feet, a strong tower that you can run into, your help and your shield. I am your song through the night and your light throughout the day. I lead you and guide you with My eye upon you. My resources are endless; My love is unfailing and My strength has no boundaries. Throw yourself, your cares, your dreams, your hopes into My arms in a new way today. Turn your face to Me for those who trust in Me will never be disappointed.

Psalms 18:2 “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
